My first thought when I came home and turned my car off in the driveway
was...............I made it home alive! :icon_blackeye:
Well, I cant even begin to know where to start talking about that night.
If it was just people being rowdy all night, I dont think it would have been too much a prob at 2:am - after Pat and I threw one or two of the rowdies into the fire to set an example of what SJVWC means when it says party is over it time to
!;
What concerned me at the time was...
1) We all saw that 3 wood pallets on the bonfire would shoot the flames about 30 ft
2) I woke up to hear them yelling "More pallets!!" and heard at least 5 pallets being slapped on and everyone going
Whoaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3) On the other side of the thin rows of trees - by the fire - was a dried out cornfield
4) Realizing that the fire was in control of a few people who were drinking heavily/quite drunk
-
DID NOT make me want to go back to
. I was just waiting for the field to catch Poof - with the tents going up soon after..and they prob would still go wow*
Had I known, as Pat told me later that the guy next to him was sharpening his knife for an hour repeatedly muttering
"No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family.... I would have been shocked for those hours of the night
Yea right , have this guy walking around people sleeping in tents carrying a 9" knife. If I knew, I would have been shocked for that hour at the very least.........
Shame the guy had an unfortunate accident where he got his nose broken........
I think the :police: should have been called a lot earlier, or at least have the owner bring out & "warm up" his shotguns - yes, ...plural
Then with the crowd getting all hyped up after the guy was taken away. P#3 P#3 P#3 I was really &m&
IF we go camping next year,
we WILL be camping
FAR away from the fire, have our own campfire like in Flanders, and if anyone comes up to us, .....we do like they do in MD, fig2 first, then ask questions......
The show was great though!!!!!!!!!!!!! though I was getting quite sunburned at the end.
