SlowRiders Car Show and Slumber Party

Not to much slumbering went on Sat night mainly because Matt wanted to be close to the Bon Fire or should I say GIANT Bon Fire AND Patrick made a new buddy as soon as we started to unpack and set up camp. Because Patrick’s new buddy said that he wanted to have some of our coffee on Sunday morning. Well Pats new buddy turned out to be one of the worst persons to ever adorn a campground. He got so drunk and was so bad at 3am, FINALLY, they got the cops to still the hostilities brewing towards him and removed him. I don’t have enough time to tell you all about it here.

How was the over all Party and Show… GREAT. The Slow Riders group was very nice and they went all out to make it a good time and I think it was a good time despite some of what went on Sat. night. The food they had was also over the top!!!!

I was very surprised to see how many showed up to camp Sat night. I would say as many or more then at Flanders.

I'm sure Pat, Matt & Ramone will join in and tell ya more about the show.

We were also surprised to see John aka Wezzer show up. He just hung around all day.

 So did Patrick share his Tent and Coffee with him? Was it the Phillsburry DoughDude? Come on Jack don't keep us hanging like you did the DoughDude..  Inquiring SJVW members needs to know this chit. s#r  By the way I viewed the pics and I think I know that nose. Did he have an  mooning on the rear of his Bus too?  @7@

That guy was one strange character as the pills and Jaegermeister crept up on him. The owner went over to talk to him again and the guy" magically "slipped on the wet grass and broke his own nose. Then the cops arrived and escorted him and the bus to the very end of the property till he sobered up. Long , long story on this one. All in all I would say this was not a place to take the kids for camping at night unless you are far from the fire. They were drinking till 5am and VERY loud all night. Great show though and how can you beat pitbeef sandwiches? Going again next year but I have to camp away from matt as he likes being too close to the "rowdies".

John, all trophies was hand made and tand some of the best trophies i ever saw.

  My first thought when I came home and turned my car off in the driveway
was...............I made it home alive!  :icon_blackeye:

Well, I cant even begin to know where to start talking about that night.
If it was just people being rowdy all night, I dont think it would have been too much a prob at 2:am -  after Pat and I threw one or two of the  rowdies into the fire to set an example of what SJVWC means when it says party is over it time to !;





What concerned me at the time was...

1)  We all saw that 3 wood pallets on the bonfire would shoot the flames about 30 ft

2) I woke up to hear them yelling "More pallets!!" and heard at least 5 pallets being slapped on and everyone going
      Whoaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3) On the other side of the thin rows of trees  - by the fire -   was a dried out cornfield

4) Realizing that the fire was in control of a few people who were drinking heavily/quite drunk

 - DID NOT make me want to go back to . I was just waiting for the field to catch Poof - with the tents  going up soon after..and they prob would still go wow*


Had I known, as Pat told me later that the guy next to him was sharpening his knife for an hour repeatedly muttering
"No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....No on messes with MY family....  I would have been  shocked for those hours of the night

  Yea right , have this guy walking around people sleeping in tents carrying a 9" knife. If I knew, I would have been  shocked for that hour at the very least.........

Shame the guy had an unfortunate accident where he got his nose broken........

I think the  :police: should have been called a lot earlier, or at least have the owner bring out & "warm up" his shotguns - yes, ...plural

 
Then with the crowd getting all hyped up after the guy was taken away. P#3  P#3  P#3 I was really  &m&

IF we go camping next year, we WILL be camping FAR away from the fire, have our own campfire like in Flanders, and if anyone comes up to us,  .....we do like they do in MD,   fig2  first, then ask questions......


The show was great though!!!!!!!!!!!!! though I was getting quite sunburned at the end.
