Didn't realize your bug had a sunroof mike!! Score. That's probably the only body mod I would put on mine even if it's the kind that you can just push up, kinda like Marc's Baja.

Greg - That's what really sold me on the car. A working crank sunroof. Now I just need a new crank handle!

Guys,

Great Cruise last night for a change the rain held out! Too bad there won't be another until next april. I had a good time talking VW with Marc & new member Stef. If anyone wants to see a really cool type 181 VW Thing just check out Stef and his Military issue car. I've never seen a VW Thing with machine gun mounts and all the stuff you would see on a military vehicle but considering this car was "brought over" its a great example of the European version which got lots of stuff we didn't.

And we had a winner! Marc won a second $10.00 gift certificate.  @@@

One other thing... Greg you have to get some "Stick on flowers" for Bridgett!! Mike is starting a trend!!

For those of you lovin the flower magnets... $61$.. I found a site that has them. This link takes you to a set without the smilie face but they have that one also. If anyone is interested in getting some, let me know. I may want to get another set, then we could get a volume discount and save on shipping.

Yea, it made it without the windows getting worse but it ran like crap on the trip home. Too bad you couldn't make it there was some really nice Amercian iron besides our cars.
