We had our Cover em up cruise as scheduled. The sky's looked like rain but continued along the route anyway. Made a few sight seeing stops, for pics etc. Got about 1\2 way through our run when the rain started, luckily Yucel and Sunny the  Pilgram had a water vessel straped to there roof.  It was a nice cruise shame it began to rain about noon'ish and the skys grayed limiting the visibility of the senic pinelands roads. It would have been much more enjoyable had we had  :icon_sunny: weather. We stopped at the Diner as planned and enjoyed the food  196 plndonut, and good conversation. The rain stopped and those of us that were not camping out headed home. While the brave hearted VDub souls headed to the lake to setup camp. Hope the Jersey Devil dosen't get em.  :surrender:

All went well execpt for some fools car who's starter crapped out, and had to be bump started each time we stopped. We were told that it was a new starter.  :wallbash:

Here are some pIcs, I know that some of the other guys have some better ones. That is if they ever get out of the Swamps of Jerzeeey.

Gots to do it again, but this time using the optional rain day just incase?  gl6  :icon_sunny:

Sun, fair sky’s, warm weather…At  sjvwc.ico we don’t need any of that in order to make a  great day happen. Wind, rain cold whatever… We cruise regardless & enjoy every minute of it.  sjvwcrocks

I’m beginning to actually enjoy driving in the rain but hey I drive a Rat. Only the truly dedicated would do it in a ride like Jay’s or Matt's  :icon_thumleft:

Looks like it was a nice turn-out. As soon as I get my car together (and work slows down a bit) I'll be going to the cruises too  :P

This was without a doubt the BEST cruise we have had to date!!! We have to do that route again and spend at littile more time at Batsto. Shawn did a great job of mapping the route and Jay (the speedster) did a great job of guiding us through the wilderness pines. The diner was great with seating us all at one table; the food was good and the waitresses very accommodating.

The camping was a great & crazy time; we had a lot of FUN. We eat good Sat. night with lots of chili and Shawn's potatos with onion and green beans. We also had coffee, rolls and butter and for desert we had Schmors.

Michelle (The Goddess of Fire) kept us warm and toasty all night as we setteled down for the night of story telling.

As the sun came up and we started to come out of our deep sleep, Shawn was starting to make breakfast already as the ducks were starting to fly over to the lake behind us. As the Ducks flew over in their normal V formation, I was asked a very profound question by Shawn. Why is one side of the V longer then the other side?

I'll camp with theses NUTs anytime.  P#3
