Here's the latest in the never ending garage story. Everything that I could do on my own to get this project moving is done. It involved some leg work, meetings with the Zoning Officer, township Clerk, tax office, Tax Collector, filling out forms and applications, studying 80 lines of information on the application form check list to make sure that all is correct, and etc, etc. No big deal, just time consuming.
Yesterday I met with a retired electrician friend who will be doing the electrical work.
Now all I need is a survey. Contacted 4, yes, 4 surveyors. It has been a week and only got one quote which went right into the trash. The other 3, who knows, guess the economy hasn't been a problem for them. c23 Give me a transit and a piece of paper and I'll do it myself; establish corner, benchmark, 2 to 3 turning points, locate the buildings, make a scale drawing and I'm done 4 hrs work $400.00 goodbye. :icon_cheesygrin: OH wait, I don't have the license. :icon_cry:
Hey does anybody do survey work or know of a surveyor that surveys for a reasonable price?
