Had the survey done today. It's been over a month since my  rant about the survey. Now maybe things will start to move in a positive direction. I was just about ready to give up.

I should change the topic to 'maybe a garage for me'. Just got back from the planning board meeting. The vote was 7 for 1 against. Won't get the final decision till next months meeting. I think the no vote  dude :whip: was asleep when I testified as to why the garage has to be built where planned. &&&& And he must have really been dozing off when the zoning official further explained why the  location was chosen.  Geeeeeeeeeeze Oh well I guess he felt he is doing his job. :icon_jokercolor:

I sure hope it works out for you. My garage is my release valve & my favorite space. When I'm in there I forget about all the things that cause me stress. I'm sure that Greg will appriciate too

Yeah, dad snatched up all the plywood I lay down on so now I really get dirty when I need to work on something. I think he put it in the fire place.  >:(

Good news. Got the final approval tonight for the variance with some additional requirements. Got 3 prices for the garage and a contractor  is coming tomorrow to look at my plans and give me a price. Maybe by this time next year I will be done.

You should be done way before this time next year. Mine was stick built & they took thier good old time but it was still done in 6 months
