Thank you to those who helped today. Even if you didn't get your hands DIRTY thanks for coming out and visiting. Shawn looking forward to those pictures!!! At one time I think we had 9? People in Jack's garage!! Me being semi claustrophobic it was a bit much! We ended up doing a 2 day project in under 8 hours, and boy mother earth is loving me now because not a single drop of oil dripped when we fired her up! I found out that I will need to purchase new heads and I didn't have all the tin work that I thought I had. Even though we met up with Justin who was a new guy at the meeting last month and he gave me some flaps a thermostat and some tins, he asked me to make a list of what I need so he can look around. The SJVWC club really knows how to get chit done. Dad Joe and Bob were working on the trans seal and putting in the new rubbers around the engine, I was busy washing years of grime off the parts, I keep wanting to guy the guy steve but that's not his name was outside wiping the *MOSTLY* grime free parts down and drying them off, Pat was busy putting in the push rod tubs, If I could have collected your skin I would have but Jack sweeped it up. Jack, and John were the assembly crew and engine installers/removers! Shawn though he was grime free was busy taking around 200 shots through out the day. Ed McGrath and Son? were there cheering us on as well as Brady who brough over a template for a SJVWC project he's working on.
In summary, it was a great day minus some skin and lost brain cells due to cleaning fumes. With SJVWC You Never Ride Alone =-)
Thanks Guys
