Spare tire Dilemma
« on: December 09, 2008, 12:43:10 am »

I was thinking that if I ever get a flat tire on the front, the front tires will be un-even making it difficult to steer mess up the alignment etc. Should I get a spare tire that is the same size as the front tires the 145/15?

You should be fine for the short period of time the spare is on...  Money would be better spent elsewhere  :icon_cheesygrin:

I agree... If it's a true "spare" it's only used until you get the flat fixed. Look at the Meanie...32" tires out back.

thanks Mark, almost forgot about that one. In fact I carry a combination air compressor / jumper box that has a built in light and a 12v plug. You can pick these up very cheap at Harbor Freight. Not a bad thing to have on hand if you do run into trouble.

Thought fixaflat has enough compression to inflate a tire to decent capacity on its own, though still always good to have a compressor......... even to give a someone a helping hand when they need it
