My brother lives in Gilbert (not a VDub guy)
He reminded me of the time when they were trying to get funds for the catch basins
in the area around Phoenix.  What was said was why do you need all these catch
basins when you only get 10 inches of rain a year ?  The answer was classic :  "would you
like to be here on the day that occurs"  The measure passed.  :icon_cheers: 
i like rain in the desert ......... makes every thing smell clean. 
Spent 1964 at Fort Lewis, Wash.  Hated the rain there, love it here.
