I saw this on sunday.
« on: May 18, 2009, 10:42:53 am »

I saw this VW right around the corner from my hous while i was out for a cruise on sunday.

You will notice in the background Webbers  :icon_cheers: , it's an old school tray service (-) joint, it would make an awesome place for a club cruise and photo op...

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Marc   stoned#

Marc,

Isn't there a "Classic car consignment lot" across from Webbers ? Thought thats where that bug might be parked. Hey interesting chop job and bumpers. Wonder if its at that lot and if it is I could take it out for a "Test Drive"... burnrubber

I'm all for Webbers its a great back drop for any kind of car cruise. Park em and its instantly back to the 60's.

Hey, yes the classic car lot is a block befor webbers...  This one was in the goodwill lot, the car wash was doing a car / stereo show, too many 24 inch rims for my taste...

This is the one from NY that was on C.L. We had a long thread about it. Jay said a local bought it and he has seen it cruising around. Better get him a flyer! And erase the posts about it being funny looking  @7@

I've seen that car driving by a few times in the Berlin area of 73. Looks decent on the road. The car lot that your asking about, I think is called "Black Tie Classic Auto Sales" located next to Ford car dealership.

Correct that is the name, and the prices are sky high!!!   The car was a good 15 footer, up close I noticed allot of things that needed to be addressed, but then again I am anal...   I could go on for hours about what is wrong with my car...
