Very nice show. I really like shows that size. Really nice people and a eclectic mix of cars. Hope that we can do this show next year too. Also pleasant cruise home. Thanks for leading the way Jay much appreciated.  sjvwcrocks

They got ya mine was only $3.00
Very nice show and you forgot one item, 3 guy in Vdubs walked away with trophies. John, Eddie & a soon to be new member named Mario. In total we had 9 cars show and the vair guys had only about 8 vairs. They also went out of their way to let us park as a group even though Jay and his gang got there later and Ed Mcgrath managed to show both his truck and race car without ever pulling it off the trailer. I also thought it was cool that they put us at the very entrance to the show, it was very apparent that our cars got a ton of attention through out the day.

I talked with Stu Ettinger who was one of the officials for the the and also the guy who used to write the Courier Post 'Classic Cars column" and he wanted me to pass on a big thanks for the clubs participation. I also told him he "owed us one" and now his vair and his 7 friends would have to come to the Clayton fall show! He just said "let me know when and we'll be there!"

One other good thing was it looks like we'll be getting at least 2 new members. Mario the guy I mentioned earlier will be at the meeting tomorrow and also an old friend of the club a guy from Pemberton named Bob ( no relation ) who has a beautiful blue Karmann Ghia vert and has joined us at events before will also be joining.

Hope we can do the show again next year only somebody remind me to bring a cooler full of soda and some good lunch! I got home starved! Other than that it was a great day to spend with you air heads! also a great cruise up and a fun ride home can't ask for more!

Matt I was doing around 50 so I guess the guy used a very fast shutter speed, you know that will stop motion even something as fast as my super!

Look in the back seat, you don't really think I'd load my antique cooler and stuff on the roof ? Besides I travel so fast I'd burn the nice red paint off of it!  Poof  :icon_cheesygrin: :icon_cheesygrin:
