1979 VW Golf beats ?1m supercar

The guy spent 1200 times on modifications than he paid for it, but it's got to be one hell of a ride.

From the looks of it very little is 30+ years old. That thing does 140+ in the 1/4 mile. thats about 10 seconds or less.

If you think about it many muscle cars & hot rods that have been modified can easily hit those speeds, its cool to see some Vdub iron that can keep up with them.

Wonder what it would do on the "salt flats"??   tier

253 mph  top speed  !5! I would not want to go that fast even on the flats with this vdub. He said it shakes the  drive&& at 160!!!!
