Hi All,

i went to check my oil and found this,  below the fuel pump this piece is broken.
She started fine and did not appear to be leaking anything.

ok boys i am out of time i will try again later to post  the picture the base of what i am looking at is very similar to the piece jack posted..   i can not tell you if the neck is on it.  I am guessing that the neck runs up to the fuel pump from inside the stand.

You have to post your photos to the web. A site like Picasa or PhotoBucket & then link to them in your posts.

Right now I can't think os anything that is 3" below the pump unless your talking about the top of the pump then it would be what I posted.

If it is that and it's not leaking, leave it alone!! But I'll have to see a photo to be sure.

Did ya miss the reply from Jack. @7@  It's a 1/2" thick plastic flange that fits between the fuel pump and the engine case with a hollow shaft that enters the case. You will only see what looks like a 1/2'' spacer between the fuel pump and case when it's mounted on the engine. If you need a new one it's $5.00 and should be thinking about replacing the pump if you're not sure of it's age.
Sorry I couldn't think of anything sarcastic to say but the rest of the gang    (love worked    you over pretty good. :icon_cheesygrin:
