Hi "Boys" from Joan

Some of you might find this funny, I took Joan to the hospital on Tuesday at 10:45 am
her operation was at 1pm and she didn't get into recovery until 7:30pm. She was out of it
and didn't remember a thing until the next day when I went back up to see her.
As we were talking she told me I shouldn't come everyday and that I should take some time to "play with the boys" I said don't you think I'm a little too old for them, well
Holly started laughing and Joan said you know what I mean the Volkswagen Boys  LAUGH@ (sorry about that VW girls) I then told her, on Monday the 7th we will be married for
53 yrs. (I know some of you remember our 50th) so I'll be right here by your side.
On Thursday the doctors told her she wouldn't be going home until next week, then today they told her she would be home tomorrow, tonight they said it won't be until Sunday  screwey)) So I have time to hook up her new 26" HDTV and DVR for her "new"
bedroom.
Unless they changs their minds again  :wallbash:
Now that she is off the heavy drugs I told her what she said about playing with the boys~ "NO I NEVER SAID THAT~ did I " @7@
Today she said  to say Hi to our extended family, the boys and girls  sjvwc.ico

glad to hear your coming home. At least your getting him to hook up the TV for Eagles season opener!  :icon_cheesygrin:

I think Bud had witnesses to the "go and play with the boys" comment. Didn't you , Bud?  I1t I1t I1t

Get better for the xmas party Joan. We have new members that haven't seen you dancing on the tables yet!!!

Bud, that's good news Joan will be comming home tomorrow. I'm just not sure of one thing, being with you 24/7 maybe Joan should stay on the strong drugs for a while. LAUGH@ LAUGH@  s#r Your not playing with me!!

Ya, maybe by the Christmas Party we can all have a  Ghug .

Hey Bud,
It is great to hear that Joan will be comming home as soon as the docs get it straight. Play time would be nice, but I am sure Joan will have a list for you anyway!

Joan said thanks and if it took to dancing on a table to get out of the hospital, she would have done it  :icon_thumright:   Ok you can't "best" a woman. she waited until today to tell
me that I told you guys the story about "playing with the boys" So Joan got me back by
saying " DUMB A** we are married 52 yrs. not 53  ./// today. She got home on Saturday
and we had to rush to get the cable box and TV hooked up in her "new" bedroom/lounge.

The only problem was she didn't get a chance to go shopping for me for our annv.. I said
thats ok I did for you  LAUGH@  "she" bought me a neat gadget, it is called a fat gecko
mini camera mount. Now what is that? It is a large suction cup video/digital camera mount that
you can stick to your dashboard, helmet, surf board etc. I tried it with my video camera
in the ghia and it frees up your hands, set the video for the wide setting and your good to go. "Joan" bought it from Philly Photo Supply~ http://www.phillyphotosupply.com It is well worth the $39.95 she paid for it  :icon_cheesygrin: Now Joan said she does enjoy
hearing from all of you but I should give you her email address, instead of me reading it to her, I told her I'm not the only nut case in the club and she said "did you ever hear of a delete button" Ok this is on her but the phone calls, Jack has our home number and "might" give it to you, if you pass his inspection  s#r I screen all calls then I'll transfer you to her room (if I feel like it). Thanks for the good wishes, it is going to be a very rough road ahead for her, but as she said "at least I'm home"
