Mine has a diaphragm pump...but it was not designed to go the length of the car. The electric one is just a helper pump. The original, with internal regulation, and safety devices will stay intact.

Took the 67 Bug out for a run today after installing the new
( used ) speedo and cable yesterday.  Speedo now works
great, smooooth all the way to 60.  Will go out tomorrow and
calibrate it against the GPS reading.
By the way it is not snowing in Yuma today   P#3
Only 101 degrees   I1t  777

I wouldn't know, personally, but I have heard once you have black, you can't go back!

Do them in black, like stock. Otherwise it will stick out like any other fad thing like Hawian white rubber, flourescent spattered dashboards or windshield wipers with wings on them...

The universal idea behind any good design or well laid out car is to always keep the person's eye moving. You don't want something to stick out like a sore thumb or that's all people will see/remember. They will not be able to full appreciate what you have done overall in your project.

Does anybody know the correct Black?  I used semi gloss and I think it is too shiny. I think flat is too dull?  Whats the correct black?

You want Satin. Tractor supply has low gloss black spray cans and it's like satin.
