Not worried about the paint. That is why I'm taking the doors off. I can probably do a better job prepping that way.
Heat was going to be the next step...looks like I won't need to do that....at least on one side.
I never thought about moving the door back and forth. I thought that would put more weight on the hinge and make it harder to get the pin out. I'm going to try the other side today.

Thats why you need help doing this. The other person moves the door back and forth/ up and down (supporting the weight of the door) while you work the air hammer

I went over to the garage, turned on the propane heater. BO** I waited about 45 minutes, the temp went up to 36 degrees. I must be crazy. screwey)) Turned the heat off and went home.

I got the other two pins out and back in today. They were a little harder as I had not sprayed any PB on them in a week or two. Sprayed some PB and walked away for a bit...came back and the pins popped right out. P#3

On a side note: While waiting for the PB to soak in I went out in the front yard and trimmed a tree and dug up a dead bush. I worked about 45 minutes and started to sweat. I must be crazy. screwey))
Came inside, shut the garage door and started watching football....

Everytime I think about my Volkswagen I get nauseous *that can't be the right spelling*... but I'm confident with this club we can have it on the road in no time! I think it's time to start taking beer and donuts requests...

Tried to think about what I was thinking about doing to the VW before I started thinking about it.    @8*  88*88
