Volkswagen "Station Wagon" V.S. Square Back
« on: February 22, 2010, 05:02:48 am »

If Volkswagen's "Station Wagon" , Transporter Bus etc was Volkswagen's competition with the American's typical Station Wagon, why did they make a Squareback which is basically the same body style as a Station Wagon?   busicon2 VS  sqBk

You buy your own bus, and do what you want to your bus. I'll do what I want to so with mine. Pissing off purists one modification at at time.

It was more of a tax, issue.  They called it a station wagon to avoid tariff charges on imports.

Interesting, that's what my bus is titled as. Then I saw and add that saying how VW's Station Wagon *bus* is better than the American Station Wagons.
