So what if its 100 degrees out, time to work on BlueBelle:

Finished half azz-gas pedal linkage:



Started loossening up rear brake drums and shock bolts - Lower one is a b*tch.



Start making it pretty inside, oh man, it's an oven in there, forget this..


 Good day to bake a Super Beetle windshield seal



Gets real pliable in the sun, borrowed some hands and got it right on...


Maybe I'll trace some wires after dinner once the sun goes down... whew!

BTW, take a peek at the last photo, top right hand corner, above the battery and the ground bolt. WTH is that thing?

Thats the plug that sends the wires up front! Well the socket anyway...

Oh no. not more electrical. I was hoping it was some old VW diagnostic block..

Hmmm. Can I borrow the way-back machine that took this web site back to March? I wanna go back a few years and beat the livin tar out of the PO's of BlueBelle...

My first brain surgery! I was curious tonight so I yanked it out seeing it had no wires connected to anything... One of those Hallmark cards that plays a song when you open it probably has more capacity than this thing.

BlueBelle was an original FI Bus, based on the gas tank outputs thats in there. Must have switched out to a dual carb engine...
