Mother of All Roof Racks
« on: July 28, 2010, 07:32:34 pm »

Was thinking of getting a roof rack, but after looking @ $300 Chinese Empi chit & $400 rusty originals I was about to give up until Shawn pointed me in a new direction (thanks Dude)
After some careful sniping on Ebay I scored this setup for a total of $200 including shipping. Way bigger that the OE & repo stuff  50"x40"x7" & holds 200 lbs. Plus I have yet to see anyone run modern rack system on their Bug, so I'm still outside of the box.
Hey maybe I'll get some camping equipment to put in there

Was thinking of some type of box to carry in rack that will hold bungies cords & stuff. Scored this ammo box on Ebay for $10

Yeah, I'm seriously considering it. Just got to get my hands on some cash so I can get the tent & bed that I want.

Nah, does'nt have to be a 4 poster but it has to be at least a queen size with 600 tread count sheets
