Canoe & Camp Outing... this Saturday 8/28

Where: Atsion State Park (Part of Wharton State Forest)

Saturday:
11:00: Brunch at Shamong Diner
Noon: caravan to camp site & set-up camp
1 pm: canoe ride on Atsion Lake (1:15 Yucel falls over board)
2:30: Swimming in the lake & Jack's nap
4 pm: Greg arrives and we watch him set up camp (which means he cleans out his bus)
4:30: more canoeing
6 pm: Dinner
7:30: play catch and Michelle starts the fire
8 pm: s'mores and scary camp fire stories   

Sunday:
Breakfast at Campsite
Group Hug
Possibly more canoeing..?..


Price = $10/VW... we are staying in the family campground this time. They have real bathrooms and running water. Lake access close by. Should be a lot quieter. Probably booking sites #19 & 18. If you plan to attend, please let me know ASAP so we book enough sites. Thanks!

Sounds like a great time. Sorry, I can't make it. I am having a house full of family and friends for crabs on Saturday!
Jack, This might be a good cruise to a shore point for crabs late in the summer season after the shoebies go home! Cape May perhaps. I love Blue Claw Crabs!

Yucel & I can bring a canoe.  If enough people are coming (and want to canoe) we can even bring two canoes. So if you're coming, please post.

Shawn - who knows how long you'll have that Syncro 4x4... you better camp!

We're making turkey burgers for dinner, eggs for brkfst & Greg's making something special for breakfast. He'll also bring stuff for s'mores. Feel free to bring whatever else you want to eat.  We have 2 stoves & a grill so no need to bring that stuff.  

We'll bring firewood, but bring firewood if you can, I want to have a BIG fire!!
