SLOW RIDERS SLAM

SLOW RIDERS SLAM
1301 Trappe RD. Street, MD
This show is great every year, really laid back and lots of fun. Theses guys make most of their own "best of" trophies, they are great looking and are very sought after. The Bond Fire on Sat. night is the largest you will ever see at a campover car show. The food they sell is always good and priced right.

Don?t forget to bring your Valve Cover Racers, it?s a lot of fun.

I think we should leave around 11am on Sat. I always take the slow easy route down Rt. 40 and stop for something to eat on the way. I know some of you will want to fly the highway (RT-95) so I will just meet you there on Sat.

You put a set of wheels on a valve cover and race it down a track that looks like a hot wheels track

 THis is a great show!  We usually whip up a good evening and morning meal!

Lots of room to camp out and to spread out....

Jim at Slow Riders e-mailed me and asked if we would do another club award this year and I told him we would.

I was thinking of something off the wall like "Almost the worst car" or something like that. We don't have much time so give me some ideas so we can make the trophy.

I think I'll start building my valve cover racer today.

 Is it the Defending Champ because it's a "SlowRider" Gosh the car look very simular to it's grownup big Blue 67 Soul Rebel Brother. There is no other like it's Blue Vergin Soul Brother.

I have extra distributors. We can bust up an old casette player, use the motor & pulleys to drive the distributor. Put my clear cap on & have the rotor blink an LED 4 times a revolution!!!!! Wooohoooo!
