I appreciate the nomination for President and Vice President of the club but from the inception of SJVWC I have always turned down nominations and wanted others to have a bigger part in the running of the club. Myself and others are dedicated to the club but we also need new, active, progressive and dynamic persons to step up and keep the club growing and moving forward.

I'm sure we will end up with anothe fine Board of Directors who have the best intrest of the club in mind. I will also announce the canidates that I will be backing in the next week or so as elections draw near.

Bob,

Please strike my name from the list for VP canidates, unfortunately my school schedule will prohibit me from going to the meetings or hold office anytime soon.

Please hold off on e-mail voting. (as of yet.) Although it would be advantages to work out a method for (paid-up) members to vote who can't get to the meeting it has been pointed out to me by other board members that our by-laws has no provisons for such.

This will be discussed at the upcoming BOD meeting.

  Stay tuned.

You know it's chit like this that takes all the fun out of being a member. This is why I don't go to meetings. Too much petty BS & politics. You all can elect who ever you want. All I want to do is to be with & cruise with my fellow VW brothers & sisters

Maybe instead of hot or cold... Try warm every once in a while

In the last 24 meetings, of which I've missed 1, there's been no political BS and they're ALWAYS fun!

Without the (very) few rules that comprise the bylaws we'd have anarchy
And that's no fun at all.
