Heater Boxes
« on: October 08, 2010, 09:49:44 pm »

OK I'm getting ready to start my first "project" on my 70 vert. I know some of u guys probably change heater boxes as often as you do your underware (that was suppose to be a compliment). Anyway my question is what type of heater boxes is best for the money. I see they have standard, painted, heavy duty, powder coated, ceramic and stainless steel. I'm thinking powder coated but what do I know I'm the newbie.

If you have to copy at least be original!

if you actually want to get heat try the ones at oeveedub.com.
or wait for the englishtown show and look for a good set of used original ones.

I've been told that used OE boxes are the way to go, but I bought a complete no name exhaust system
complete with  boxes on Samba. It bolted up with no problem & makes great heat. As far as I'm concerned me and/or the car will be long gone before the boxes rust out. IMHOO
