Theres a scaffold part I have at works that makes a PERFECT adapter to use the Empi Bench Mount engine holder in this stand.

i could use the scaffold part. i need to adapt my engine holder to fit the h.f. stand.

Its called a base collar

Theyre chinese import and as a result the large tube fits perfectly into the HF stand bushing and the Empi motor bracket fits inside the small end (I cut it right at the rosette ring)

Because this just slides in and is held in place by pins, the HF stand can still be used to hold other motors with it's original motor bracket. So it's more versatile

Great if you have a bench mount already... But Jack is correct if you were buying both
