body soldering

hey is this old time or does anybody still do it. was watching hot rod tv (lead sleds)  and remembered helping my brother do restorations w/ body solder.

seems more trouble then it's worth ? Now that we have really good fillers these days .

I like it.. It's fun, and now completely useless. Guys who still do it only do so 'cause they can.

Who remembers Ditzler's aluma-lead? It was way easier than actually lead-ing.

Modern body fillers are much better now.

Betcha one of the geezers  %$oldcit knows somebody whose hotrod deformed at the high school bon-fire

Classic antique car restorer guys still do this. I know a guy in Millville who can tell us how. He use to be the Snap-on tool guy here.
