I really love this as a replacement for my wife's 08 Elantra. My Passat would stay but I would love the 2.0T TSI option with every single option. That would be one expensive bug!

200 hp is nice!

But seems to me the rims carry most of the character of it. Replace them with normal rims, car is OK

There are a TON of options of the 2012 Beetle. It looks like it is gonna start around the $17K mark for the 2.5L and guessing will hit the $33K mark for the 2.0T with all options. I saw a picture of a vert but there wasn't much mention of it. Maybe 2013.
