All VW Car Show and Swap Meet to be held at the Harwinton Fairgrounds, 1 mile off Route 4 on 150 Locust Road in Harwinton, Connecticut from 9am to 3pm. Admission is charged with all proceeds going to local charity (community fund). We average 300 VWs of all types from the early 40s to the latest 2011 models. Both air and watercooled classes with over 100 awards. Indoor and outdoor vendor spots with over 100 vendors selling new and used parts. Camping is available at fairgrounds the night before for a small fee. New, modern, clean restrooms. Bug In Bash on Saturday night at the fairgrounds. This is an informal social event with free food and lots of vw enthusiasts.
