Went to see this today if anyone was interested in it.  Its a mix.  Floors and pans are solid.  Nice interior, good headliner, drivers seat patting is a bit mushed but the materials are all in great shape.  New seals all around.  Overall a decent amateur restoration.  Engine is new with less than 10,000 miles on it, unfortunately the seller proudly showed me the paperwork from GEX...I bit my tongue.  But it does run well with no adverse smells or noises.

It falls down in 2 places

Transmission:  Definitely something wrong with first gear, makes a clicking noise, probably chipped a tooth on the gears.  Otherwise it shifts fine and moves good. Needs a throwout bearing too, it was making a whine.

Body:  To be right it would need a bare metal strip and respray. Overall its pretty solid just a bunch of little dings and dents.  Paint on the hood is scuffed up.  the rest of the paint shines ok but shiny black paint just shows off how bad the body is.  Its not terrible, just alot of little things that need attention.  Drivers side rear quarter looks like it has some bad patchwork under the paint, maybe bondo.

Overall a pretty fair car for the price.  There's a title issue with it that the seller is trying to sort out.  Gives me some time to think on it I guess.

Well it kinda depended on the title getting sorted out but the money I had for it was being saved as a down payment for a new DD for me (daughter is getting her license and inheriting my car) and it just happens that this afternoon the car I was looking for (non VW) popped up for sale in Marlton and I bought it.   So unless someone buys my truck soon I wont have the money for it right now.
