Yes, I am temporarily without a VW. Had to sell everything so I could have my dream, a 1961 Buick Special. Thought you all might enjoy some before & after motor pics. Not running yet, still need a few critical parts. But should be very soon.  :jump4jo": Should definitley be done by fall in time for BWTB

Awesome! Is that a single barrel carb on a V8? What are you thoughts for an exhaust system?

No it's a Rochester 2 barrel, 500 CFM. Exhaust is cast iron manifolds dumping into a y pipe that attaches to a single 3" pipe with a resonator (no muffler) and then attaches to another y pipe that dumps behind both back wheels. Looks & sounds cool

Actualy they now have rigs that used compressed air & diesel fuel. it takes up the whole trunk with pipeing, solinoids & such But I put that in the same catagory as forced patina. Just not right.  ?/banghea?/ Old school way is better, sounds cool

Guys my age & older will appreciate this. Genuine NOS Foxcraft fender skirts. Hope I don't get a flat. They were a bitch to mount.  Q3surrender.gif

Where else, Ebay. never mounted, original box, instructions & hardware. I hated to do take it off but the one skirt even had a Foxcraft sticker on it. Would have loved to have Turnpike style shirts but I don't think they were ever made for 4 door Buick Specials. Or any 4 door for that matter  #@rofl3 Oh, by the way. Not to worry, once things are squared away I'm gonna look for a nice water cooled VW with an auto tranny.  =+grouphu9
