No, it's not that Jack.  My back and hips are causing me a lot of problems right now, and driving for 4.5 hours (each way) and sleeping on the ground would kill me.  Sorry all.. just can't do it.  Hopefully we'll have another camping event this summer.

Ahh  soggy ground and tents = bad combination.

We'll hold a spot for you. We'll just keep repeating "Claire's coming with the Champagne"
The volunteers to help hold your spot will come out of the wood work

Thanks, Shawn.  I guess I better be prepared, huh?  :)

The caravan leaves for SUNSATIONAL FAMILY CAMPGROUND, 1120 Hoffman Lane Millmont, PA 17845 on Thursday morning.

Departing Murphy's Supermarket Atco NJ @ 0815. From there it's on to Tanger Ave in Franklinville, to pick up the next group.

Departing Franklinville at 0900 and heading to the Pull-off on the Delaware side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge (Just beyond the tollbooth on the right)

Be at that point by 09:50 as we pull out at 10:00

From there we head over to Newport DE and take Newport Gap Pike (41) up to Rt 30 west. At 30 & 41 we will stop at McDonald's for rest stop, will be there about 15min. We will stay on RT30 then take 283 to 22/322 to 11/15 north to 104. Follow 104 through Middleburg and to Penns Creek. Just past Penns Creek, we will turn left onto Creek Road.
We will stop on 11/15 for lunch.

Call if you want to meet us along the route or if you're trying to find us.

Anybody plan on meeting us along the way???????

Latest from Justin:

Ignore the Road Closed signs on Creek Road. They lead you to believe that the road is completely closed. It's not.

DO NOT take 235 off of 15. Two BIG climbs. One between 15 and 522 then another from 522 up over to Creek Road.
I suggest followin 15 to 104. You come through rather than over.

Take 15 to 104 North. Follow 104 through Middlebury and Penns Creek. Turn Left onto Red Ridge Road. It will come to T. Turn Left onto Creek Road. Follow Creek Road straight to camp! Road ends after bridge and turns into camp lane. Look for 12 inch black and yellow signs starting at 104 and Red Ridge Road.

Bus is all packed I should be leaving the media area about 1pm see you guys there.

Fallowing your GPS way up 104.  Right after the town of Penn Creek you'll come down a 6% grade (like a mile long drop) at the bottom is Red Ridge Rd.  turn left.

Oh, is that TOMORROW?

Haha. Taking a break after getting mostly loaded.

There was seriously bad rain up there yesterday.
The campground was deluged.
It was completely dry today & 78 degrees but it's still pretty soggy.

For tenters, ..... nothing like a tent with a wet bottom..............

but that is what a GOOD ground cloth is for.

Hope you have a great time!
