AC car show and auction
« on: February 21, 2012, 09:24:54 pm »

I've mentioned before about the museum my father in law belongs to, the Vintage Auto Museum of NJ,  and they're going to be at the show.

Here's a list of the vendors:  http://www.acclassiccars.com/pdfs/2012VendorsList.pdf     (you'll see them at the bottom.)

There are even some bugs in the auction, which  you can search in the Auction Listings header.

My family is going Friday afternoon/evening, and I can't go with them.  They're also going to the high line auction over at the Taj , where my father in law will be bidding on another car (or two..  must be nice.)   Not sure if I'll make it down there this weekend.

Here's a link to the high line auction:

I did sell my car at the Auction.

http://acclassiccars.com/listing/detail.asp?Key=706

I had a great time doing it.  I had 3 people offer me that selling price at once.  The car never crossed the block, it sold on Saturday. It was to go to auction Sunday.  When I was taking off the plates on Sunday, people were kind of pissed that they didn't get a chance to bid on it.  I am still getting calls on my cell phone about The car. I just got another one tonight. The person who has her now is a big VW & Porsche collector.  He drove it home to Huntingdon Valley PA from the auction.

Thanks.

I am still keeping the 72 vert.  I sold off 5 of my VW's this year.  I think that's enough for now.

The thing I noticed at the show, it seems it's getting smaller each year. Maybe they sold on Friday. I saw a lot of empty spot on Saturday.
