Greg - Roof Rack is sold (to Me) and its not worth $300.
Remember one thing, its only worth someone wants to pay for it.

Frame head is rusted on the bottom. I can't speak for the top.
I believe this might be a sport bug based on the year and the original yellow color.
I'll have to get the VIN and run it.

If you look at the pics in picasa most if not all the major things have been addressed.

I'm probably not saying anything you don't already know but that's a strut based front end not a traditional VW front end so it will not be quite as simple to raise.

Actually with it being a strut set up you could do something like a rancho set up with a little modifiction.

but then again there is the 68....

I looked at it myself. (Yes the roof rack was sold.)

Its a good starter for a restoration.
Its all there.
Rust in the usual places.
Back corners, bottom of frame head.
Does not have the usual rust up top by the vents.
Pans are not wasted.

When I looked it was $800 firm. I offered $500. She said no

So now it's $500 (and I already have another project)
