As some of you that have had the pleasure of driving behind me have noticed i have accuried a significant oil leak on Hooch which needs to be resolved before the treck to Granny's and after that TN for Bonnaroo.  What i am looking to do is replace the seals in the engin, replace the fule lines and possible swap the starter since some times it just likes to spin and not actually turnover.

I have the fule line replacement kit ready to go and i know which starter to buy unless anyone has once laying around they would like to part with but i do not know what exactly i would need to replace engin wise.  I went on bus depot and it appears that there are many kits out there i just dont know which to buy to ensure i have eveything on hand before setting up a day to do the work.  Any guidence on this or help doing the actual fix would be greatly appriciated i have pasted some of what bus depot had available but since i have never done this and it would be a learning experince for me i have no clue what to buy.

Also if anyone thinks i should replace anything else whil i have the engin out please chime in.

Its push rod seal time JackWagen!!! I'm ready ?/moon2..

Ty, if engine is coming out, replace oil cooler seals. I think they are in the kit from Bus Depot. Plus, its a great time to replace the Bus starter and its bushing. 2@cent

Front engine seal, rear trans seal.

Buy the gasket kit - it should have everything you need

Awesome thanks guys i will look into getting these.  and i agree rich this is the time to replace the started and the pain in the butt bushing that is a bear to get out.

The starter bushing is easy to get out when the engine is out of the way! Besides, my method of using a threading tap to remove the bushing is a piece of cake!  2@cent

As I learned from George Gallagher,  you can get a starter for an automatic tranny for a Bus, it has higher torque and doesn't need the bushing at all.  2@cent
