Dang, I cant believe I missed this.  See, I was getting the bug ready for the show Saturday morning, washing and making it pretty, power washed the oil and stuff off the engine.  Dried the car off quick banana polish.  I go to start the car up, and nothing...  I check the dizz for water and all, nope, just fine.  A spray of ether and it came to life, then died, I'm figuring the krappy new fuel has melted another set of gaskets.  So I go to swap out the gaskets and I drop the glass part of the filter...  Of course it shatters...   So, I use a longer piece of fuel line and skip the filter, and it still won't run...  At this point I'm annoyed, and out of time to make the show. Now, I have a bit of lunch to calm myself, since I know I am going to miss the show, I head out to AZ and grab a filter, and new fuel pump. I get back to the house and put the filter in place and as expected the car wont start, however at this point I check the fuel line and verify the pump is trying to suck gas, the problem is and was the whole time, and empty fuel tank...    D'oH I grabbed my 5 gallon jug out of the garage, and dumped some gas in the tank, and it started right up...

Boy did I feel like a dumb- ?/moon2..

So, I tried to make the show, but the universe decided to play games with me, what are the odds of having enough gas to get into the driveway, but not enough to start it back up!!!!!
