    Hopefully, next to food, the Treasure Hunt-Poker Shoot  out will be most entertaining event. While complex to set up -
(I hope I don't screw this up).

   It's easy to play. Just follow the instructions and solve the simple(?) clues.

    The object of the game is to get the best five card poker hand.

      To do that you will be given cards and you must find cards based on clues. That's where the Treasure Hunt part comes in.

   You will work as a four member team;

   Only the first 32 members can play. For the mathematically challenged, that means eight (8) teams in all. It's is first come, first serve.

   So come early.

Family members can help.

PRIZES
   There will be three top prizes awarded and a fourth prize in the event of a tie. The best hand gets first choice. If there is no tie for the fourth prize, it gets recycled into the Christmas party raffle.

  There are a number of jokers in the game. Jokers get instant prizes and they are not deducted from the five cards that count.

The prizes are:   A 6 AMP RECIPROCATING SAW
                          A OSCILLATION MULTIFUNCTION (8) POWER TOOL
                         A GRAVITY FEED ABRASIVE BLASTER GUN -

MORE RULES:
   
 The first 32 members  get upon entering get an envelope with: ONE PLAYING CARD, A SCORE CARD, A PENCIL (or pen) AND RULES OF THE GAME.

The actual Treasure Hunt/ Poker Shootout will begin after we eat. On or about 2:00 or 2:30 PM.
 
At start of game EACH PLAYER WILL BE GIVEN ANOTHER SEALED ENVELOPE THAT WILL CONTAIN:

 1. TWO PLAYING CARDS.

 2. A ? OF A CLUE.

3. A WELCOME TO TREASURE HUNT WITH YOUR TEAMS NAME AND HOW TO FIND YOUR OTHER TEAM MEMBERS.

4. IN SOME CASES, AN ARTICLE THAT MUST BE WORN OR USED TO ID THE REST OF YOUR TEAM
 
BUT HERE IS THE RUB.

You cannot call out your team?s official name.  8*gaged

You can only find your TEAM MEMBERS by LOOKING FOR A SIMILAR ARTICLE THAT THEY MAY BE WEARING OR WHAT THEY WILL BE DOING.


ie For instance if your team is the Wolfs you may be called on the howl like a wolf until you find all your mates.

NO WOLFS OR ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THE CONSTRUCTING OF THIS GAME.  :huh:
