http://www.amazon.com/GE-24769-Outdoor-Antenna-Digital/dp/B0026SSAOM  ( This is the unit installed on my trailer.)

This is a post on FB from the man that installed mine: " Antennas are easy, Home Depot sells a digital antenna for around $50. This is what you need now if you want tv reception in the US or Canada. To install just run a wire from it to the "cable input" on the side of the trailer and the power suppy to it hook in where your cable is hooked to the tb now and then hole the cable to it. The power supply has a 110 AC power plug on it that converts the power to 9volt DC, I you want to operate it while dry camping you can cut the cord and wire it into your DC power ( it is able to handle 12 volts) this works well for me."

You have a bigger trailer with a flat roof , so you could always go with a Winegard set up too.  My roof with the curve isn't ideal for one.  http://www.winegard.com/mobile/index.php

Hope that helps..

Ah so Karen didnt mean digital cable... she meant hdtv

Your antenna will work Jack, but not as good as an amplified one.

Campgrounds are usually in remote locations away from cities where broadcasts come from

You need a digital converter to use an old TV or to get a new digital TV

We are getting a new TV with a built in DVD player. All the years we used the trailer we hardly ever used the TV except to play VHS tapes for the kids, so I don''t see it getting much use now.

The antenna that is on the trailer you can crank up and turn inside the trailer so I'll mount the new Antenna on the same mount.

The name of this antenna has a nice ring to it.

But I might go with this one.

Jay came over and got the brake controller installed in the truck, I didn't think I had a factory hookup installed on my truck so I got the controller for non-factory hookup.

I took the panel off so we could see under the dash better and have more room to run wires, well guess what I found when I did, yup the factory installed trailer plug.

So we plug in the factory plug and used only the wire that goes back to the plug for the brakes. The brakes now get elect. but the brakes are stuck, have to ttake the wheels back off and brake the solenoids loose. I should have checked them when I changed the weels. &(rage_

So a big thanks to Jay again for the 5 hours he put in today helping to getting the trailer that much closer to being done.

Hey You Young Strapper you. I'll be by next week to work on the brakes for you.. After all two  ?/moon2.. + ?/moon2..  are better then one  ?/moon2..  . Besides you can't adjust and fiddle with fixing the trailer brakes, and press the brake pedal at the same time.. I know your legs not that long, but doubt that other parts are that big either  :confused04:;

Probably Tuesday because I'm taking the little one to Great Adventure Sarfari Park on Monday before they close and change the drive through forever changed where you can no longer drive your own car through the park.. Damn why does things have to change i liked it the way it was  #banghead

Took off a brake drum today and I never saw how elect. brakes work but now I know, it's kind off cool how they work. I didn't see anything wrong so I just cleaned all the spider webs out and put it back together. Maybe the magnet isn't getting enough voltage or maybe it is, I see the way they work the wheel has to be turning for the brake to work. I'll try it out on the road later today and see what happens.

Went for a test drive today and the brakes work great! Thanks again  Jay for all your hard work.

I see in the photo that I have to go less another chain link on the load levelers, front of truck just a scoch to high.

Hey Starp ?/moon2..   . Maybe if you shoveled that heavy load of water soaked dirt and mulch chit out of the bed of your truck it would lighten the  ?/moon2.. end.. Not to mention get you a little more miles per gallon. BTW isn't that the same load that's been in there like for years?
