Ok so looks like we are rolling along after the teeth i go back to the dentist for a cleaning and final approval and then back to the doc to go over the test results and set the date.  So i see him on Nov. 7th in he morning so i should know exactly when we are going to kick off this party then.

Well apparently all I want for Christmas this year is a St. Jude Mechanical Valve.... Well that and some video games... and maybe some toys for the bus.... BUT NO SOX!!!!

Anyway I'm getting off topic.  so we have set the date and other then some silly pre op testing and a meeting with the anesthesiologist we are a GO.

December 7th will be the day of the surgery which means its safe to say that this year I will not make it to the Christmas Party  &(rage_ bawlin)0.  Surgery should be about 3 hours and I'm told the first day out I should expect to be doped and sleepy.  After that I will have about a week stay in the hospital (could be as little as 4 days).

So that the big news.  some other stuff for those of you following along at home.  The wisdom teeth are out had them yanked last week and no real issues other then eating solid food.  felt no pain at all  &^beer&.  The cat scan I took a while back was great no issues there as well as the echo so this will be a straight valve job.  as you saw above I will be having a St. Jude Medical Valve put in.

Once out of the hospital I will be taking it easy. no lifting or anything stressing the upper body for like 8 weeks at the most.  think I'm going to do allot of Jack Napping.  I will not be able to drive for about 4 weeks so rose will be driving Hooch but I should be able to drive to the freeze your bus off she will have to set up camp and do the heavy lifting.

Again thank you all for your Prays and Concerns.  I will be setting up a mailing list and handing it over to my pops to keep all those who want up to the min play by play information just let me know and i will be sure to add you to the list.  For the rest of you i will be sure to pop into the site for a pre surgery and post surgery update as soon as I'm able to log in.

Good thoughts sent you way!  I guess you'll have to trade in your superman PJ's after this surgery to become the Six-Million Dollar Man!  (minus the crashing rocket and barely alive thing, of course)
