I Was recently doing some Subaru research and rememberd this web page that shows the comparison between the VW engine and Subaru..
Geese, I miss hanging with these west coast motor heads.

De-tuned. Louie produced 300+ HP and was an OutBack Engine..

Of course stuffing these engines into a VW isn't as easy as it looks, or as simple as a open sand rail, but can be done.. The end result is a very dependable runner with great response and performance.

Heck, I'm still laughing at Jack, when I let him drive Bugaru and he had a big  ?/moon2.. smile on his face from Atco to Tuckerton.
Not to mention I had to beg him for my car back..  #banghead
