I'm sorry Greg, but thats just ignorant.

I really dont want to say how I feel about the later models but the early's have alot more character and even the worst of them are worth as much as 3 or 4 of the later models.

sorry for the above but I was tired.
 
underneath it all they are all just volkswagens. Sure I dont like like the style of the later year buses. But I would trade my car for an early bus any condition. It's a history kind of thing. Look at todays modern cars. They are filled with all the creature comforts you could ever ask for. They are fast, safe and economical but lets face facts- they are effing BORING. The older cars (volkswagen included) have tons more character, less safety crap and are much easier to fix. And they look TONS more cool!

So have a little respect for us vintage folks. We are old but if it wasnt for us, yours wouldnt be here.

Yup, use to be you could tell the make of a car 4 blocks away, now I cant tell what it is till I see the name tag they all look alike.

sometimes even the name tag doesnt matter. My Jetta looks like a toyota/kia/honda.
