Fuel pressure question

Does anyont know how much fuel pressure i should run with a solex 28 pict-1

My VW of America Without Guesswork book says 3 to 5 pounds per square inch (psi)

42 S with your small carb (3.5 PSI max



12S (with the addition of a regulator) for a bigger carb

12S (with the addition of a regulator) for a bigger carb

I ran one of the pumps above off the shelf from pepboys, along with a pressure regulator and never had a problem...

Baja has a Weber carb. pressure was at 6.

Didn't put a regulator on but I did put clamps on the feed hoses
