The Christmas Party is: December 8, Sunday, It begins at 12:00 PM. Come early and have fun.
Food is served at 1:00 PM
Dress for the holiday, if you so desire.
We will feature:Live Music by the well known group 'The Oil Drip Trio.'
The outstanding menu remains the same as last year with the exception of Chicken Parmesan added to the Three Main Entrees also:3 Salads, Several hot Sides,An Assortment of Desserts.
All drinks are included except alcohol. &^beer&
Price $15 for members and guests,Kids $6.
Price on Sunday at the door is $20, still a bargain! but it messes up our accounting.
Pay now, by mail or on the web or even run the money to Glen or any board member.
Each Member (paid up) upon entering will given a tot bag with a special VW Tablet/ Notebook bag, a VW Wireless Mouse- very nice-Thanks Michelle! and assorted other goodies. A $20 value.
The Entertainment will continue with the installation of the officer's.
There will be a VW Quiz with Prizes. It will be table against table, so perhaps you should sit with someone who is smart...???
We will be singing the VW Bus Song.
There will be a Body Shop contest. Every member will be given the material needed to sculpt a VW Bus.
Then the dreaded Dubious (and honorable) Awards.
The Table Centerpiece giveaway. An obscure date in VW history will be given out and the person closet to the month and date will win.
The evening will end with the Chinese Basket Auction. Every The member gets one ticket free. Extra tickets are: $1 each, 8 for $5.00 or 20 for $10.00. Anybody can purchase tickets. The assortment of baskets is growing with some really nice items including: Tickers to the Walnut Street Theater, MAC Makeup Assortment, Baskets of Tools and many others.
WE STILL NEED ITEMS FOR BASKETS: i.e. TOOLS, VW PARTS, ALCOHOL, GIFT CARDS, etc, etc.
