Splits are not fun to drive and are as uncomfortable as you can get. I can't understand the interest in one.

I don't get it either! I drove them in my younger years.  %$oldcit I use to junk the rusted out ones. I guess I should have saved them. Everybody is different.  Dang.. I scrapped a much nicer roller not to long ago. And in the attempt to cleanup I recently just sold a pair of 1967's for like cheap.
 I could have delivered them to you..
