VERY Cool Bus lighting site.
« on: February 18, 2014, 09:45:04 am »

Here is a link to some cool LED lights for you bus.  I installed a home version in my buddy's kitchen, and they turned out sweet!

You can piece together a custom setup or buy a kit.   They also have cut to length led strip lights too...

From the same site?  if so did you just cut off the 110v transformer and hard wire it?

 You don't need the AC power supply, it's simply a 110V AC - to - Dc converter, intended more for the home use.
The Lights operate off of 12V DC
and yes, you can cut or extend as needed.

 The LED light strips have self stick tape on them.
They also come in water proof version which is what I have and gave Shawn a set

 I have a few 3m sets both color, and White LED's on hand with 12v DC power adapter if needed  :jump4jo":

I like these lights. I've been thinking of putting a set of blue under my running boards. Can I just wirer the lights to my light switch or do I need something more to get them to work. :confused04:;

 Rich
 All you need is a DC power source, and a on off switch to isolate the lighting. Also would suggest a inline fuse to protect the circuit..

 Also since you have a smaller area to light auto shops such a Pepboys has them in short sections and a selection of colors. They even have a demo lightable strip so you can see the actual colors lit up..

 Hope all is well, just think soon your be able to remove the ski's from your sled.
