Woodstown swap meet
« on: March 24, 2014, 11:36:22 am »

Yes it was bigger and more crowded then ever. Even though I arrived in the dark before 6:00 and a lot of vendors were already setup, the prospective buyers with already snatching up the bargains using flashlights to sort through the rubble.

Here's the best story. I find 3 VW Bus transaxils. Two, with a price tag of $35 each. So I'm contemplating on how to get my van to the back of the swap meet -(I had a great parking spot against the first building).  While I wonder  a little ways away to find the best path to take, here comes Richie with his little wagon and buys all three in the blink of a eye.

the seller must have more bus parts because the last words I heard from Richie  was "price is no object".

It was a good swap meet for me. A little cold but I found several items I had been seeking.

Not a lot of VW items ( extractor exhaust, fenders, lots of small parts. a single port engine with lots of chrome and those transaxils,) but most were gone in the first hour.
