Yup we'll be there... But it looks like a bomb went off in there  #banghead

We gutted the Champagne. Found some mouse hotels (long since vacated)... So we had to disinfect

Tomorrow will be rust treatment in the interior,
jalousie install
Starter install (Motor still out).
Emergency brake cable adjust.
Fuel tank cover reinstall

We could finish putting the motor and stick it in... It wouldn't take much


Tyler, bring hooch over... We'll yank the interior and put it in the Champagne... Then I'll build you a new one   thumpup)-

Craftsman tool chest for storage, mobile server and dash mounted monitor included...   *8emperor

WOW! What a great time we had. Richard, 3Gear, Greg, Tyler, Steph and I got everything on the list done and then some under the watchful eye of Jack.  *snoopy)

Its awesome to have help and somebody to bounce ideas off of. Without Richard & 3Gear we never would have figured out the mis-alignment of the pulleys  =+grouphu9

Greg and Steph got the jalousie windows all cleaned up

Greg showed me how to put the Jalousie window in and I showed him how to keep it there with some sheet metal screws  #@rofl3

Starter is in, motor is 99% done

Thanks to Celly & George last night there is still a chance that Steph can take Argyle (the Champagne) to the Camp Jam in the Pines (CJiP) Music Festival tomorrow

So PTatT will include tying up the loose ends, like the tail lights and a few other items.

Then the test drive

Sorry I havent posted anything from the Tuesday & Thursday nights... Been up to my eyeballs in VW stuff. I have a TON of stuff to post and I promise to do it soon.

In the meantime tomorrow (Tuesday 5/27) Tyler is going solar... Eeyore is getting an oil change and who knows who else will show up to "get sumpin' done". If you're bored and looking for something to do c'mon over!

Heres a prieview of what we did in one night!

So now that we covered the good we go to the bad.  apparently i have a problem with one of my house batteries and for some reason i have no reverse lights which is in turn keeping my reverse camera from working.  I think as a quick fix today I'm going to tie power into it with a switch so i can turn it on whenever i want.

I'm also still having something weird going on with the head unit.  it keeps powering down on its own and i have not figured out why yet.  originally it we thought this was because of the battery however not I'm not so sure so today i will be surfing the net to hopefully find a solution.  other then that it worked great on the Way to Shawn's yesterday.  i took a phone call while driving and had a crystal clear hands fee conversation while trucking down the road.  this deff will be an awesome addition once i get all the bugs worked out.   thumpup)-
