It was nice to see so many familiar faces at this VW event. We got there late Thurs and made our way from fire to fire. Friday was a nice day- set up Jack's new table, watched Yucel and Jack play chess, laid out in the sun, ate some yummy homemade beef and vegetable soup cooked in a cauldron, and then had a nice big fire with the gang and had a LATE night!  Justin does a really nice job with this event.  Saturday's pot luck breakfast was vast and delicious. Definitely worth gettin up for. I took a bike ride to Shakedown Street and stopped by the creek just in time to see a fly fisherman catch a good size trout. Then I hung out by some dudes playing guitar and harmonica. All of this fun in just one weekend, and sharing it with good friends... that's what life is all about!
