MURDER MYSTERY AT THE PARK
Don't miss this years picnic. I have two very different events planned for this year. One will be a Murder Mystery: For those that are unaware or have never participated in such a fun event, this is the basic scenario.
At a gathering, usually at a dinner, someone (pretends) to fall down dead-murdered or is already reported dead.
Someone among you is the murder, everyone is a suspect and everyone is assigned a character or better put; plays a part. Each person playing is competing against all other players to solve the murder first. Their accusation must be based on solid evidence.
Dressing up for the part is optional.
The players must determine who the murder is by: clues left behind, each persons motive, and try to break their alibi.
For our Picnic Scene: This is the premise:NEWS FLASH: T
HE FAMOUS ITALIAN RACE CAR DRIVER; "OMIGOTO FASTIO, WAS FOUND DEAD THIS MORNING ALONGSIDE HIS FAVORITE RACE CAR THE,'TESTA ROSSA TROLLOP.' IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN APPARENT MURDER.
MR. OMIGOTO WAS BASHED IN THE HEAD, HE WASN'T WEARING HIS HELMET, THE MURDER WEAPON, A BLOODY TWO FOOT SNAP-ON EXTENSION LAY ACROSS HIS CHEST ON HIS PRISTINE WHITE,RED AND GREEN DRIVING SUIT.
HE WAS FOUND BY HIS CHIEF MECHANIC 'NUZZIO ' WHO WAS BRINGING HIS USUAL MORNING CAPPUCCINO.
Mr. FASTIO WAS NOT THE MOST BELOVED DRIVER ;KNOW FOR DIRTY RACE DRIVING TACTICS, A CHEAT, WOMANIZER, AND ALL AROUND LOUSE.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE AND BROTHER.
-END OF NEW FLASH In order for this to be successful, I need members (and non members) to sign up as soon as possible so each participant gets a script.
At the picnic Each person (who signed up), will get a complete outline with: details on your character, alibi and motive. You can ad-lib till hearts content.
ONE PERSON WILL BE SECRETLY ASSIGNED THE MURDER. The person who names the murder first and the reason why based on clues will receive the grand prize. The killer
will also receive a prize being he can't name himself.
SIGN-UP FOR CHARACTERS: 1.
Joe Tierno- Playing the bumbling Inspector Clouseau-[/u] who will not solve the murder, but may provide additional information that only the police might have. He will also try to keep some kind of order.
