I was planning on attending with Old Blue. However, when I looked at the clock is was already 6:00 PM and was still under the Ocelot bleeding the brakes by using a various pieces of wood to hold the peddle down. It's very tedious doing a one man bleed. ?/banghea?/
But the good news is I finally got all the air out and I have a nice firm peddle. :jump4jo":
If you were at the Air-Raid at my house, You would remember; on the Dune Buggy, we could not get any kind of brake peddle. I had to replace the Master cylinder and one rusty line.
Also the gas tank was removed along with the antiquated radio, boombox speaker/amp.
I had to wait for the Billet gas tank brackets to arrive from Moore's in California. That came Tuesday- looked nice -but one set wasn't even tapped- China crap.
I still have to secure the tank, replace gas hoses and fill the tank with gas and test drive- I should get it inspected, but I"ll probably wait. It's the end of the month and the lines will be long and crowded.
Hopefully, the buggy it will be ready for the show; 'Cars For The Cure' Saturday.
