After seeing the video of Shawn's presentation (Great Job!!!!!), I knew I was going to miss a good meeting (these things are getting better every month). Instead, i was in the garage till about 9 pm, welding up the wheel wells, luggage tray on my 57  :icon_wink:

Been working on the car pretty steady for the past few of days. Next on the list...drivers side heater channel and a new front clip. Damn!!! I'm getting really sick and tired of not being able to drive this car.

see you at the next meeting  :icon_cheesygrin:

WA# Hey Pete, we have a breakfast coming up on the 21st of March, maybe you can make it then. Bringing a VW is not a requirement.  :icon_wink:
I don't know how fast my car will go.
It's more important that I know how fast my car will stop.

Mayb if you had a day with all the parts lined up and ready to go a few of us could come up and give you a hand and put a hurtin on that bad boy.
I don't have to go to work in the morning....

Hey! after seeing the way you were at the meeting last night, I didnt think you would be typing so much... cause your retired!!

Your bus looked really great by the way!, -  and of course it did not escape my attention that you brought  ol' 3-gear and I into a windowed room at the resturaunt that did not exit to the outside, so we were only able only look at your bus from a distance.....couldnt even go up and touch the thing!

- so what if we were going to lick our fingers first - :icon_tongue:

If you saw what my yard looks like, it would definitely, qualify as a four letter word. The pine barrens probably look better than this yard  ;D
