COME AND CELEBRATE SJVWC 19th YEAR BIRTHDAY PARTY AND PICNIC
A quick-look back at history-On June 4, 2005, at the Prestige VW dealership car show, I met Jack Kessel. It was there we discovered we had both formed a VW car club that very same month. The following week we met again at "Punch Buggy," Atco's all-VW event, and decided to join forces.
Since Jack was registered as an official car club with VW of America and already had a working website. We stuck with his name instead of "South Jersey Panzers", (which is a lot cooler). We met a Prestige VW until we outgrew it. Then we moved to Racks, which was the third name change and ownership. During Covid, we were welcomed at the outdoor patio at Geets Diner and finally at the Lampost Diner where we had access to a large indoor room.
PICNIC DETAILS:
PLACE: Washington Lake Park, Lot C- Same place as every other year.
DATE: June 09 on a Sunday.
TIME: 12:00-6:00 pm.

In addition to Carol and me, I've got Norm for one, John L. for one, and George and Marie for two.
Remember, it's a BYOB.
If my list of attendees is not correct, please let me know. I'm going to hold changing the reservation until Monday for anyone jumping in last minute.

The venue is Joe's Pizzeria & Bistro in Marlton. The address is 789 East Rt 70 in the shopping center Shops at Elmwood". It's on the right as you are heading East on Rt 70.
I had lunch there today with friends and everyone loved their dish. I had a personal (12") pizza which was delish, and could serve two. Especially if you are getting an appetizer. The others had sandwiches and wraps, all of which were very good. We didn't try the entrees. Service was first class. I spoke with the owner, who was very accommodating, and reserved a table for ten at 6:30 pm. I can add or subtract from that number until the weekend prior. This venue is BYOB.

The first Dub-n-Dine of the 2024 Season will be tomorrow, January 25th at Bangkok City restaurant. It's located in the Eagle Plaza Shopping Center in Voorhees, NJ. The address is 700 County Rte 561, Voorhees, NJ. Corner of Rt-561 and White Horse Road. The reservation is for 6:30pm.
BYOB.
