Time to start  shocked for a  Hyabusa wreck for the drivetrain??? 1300cc with a TURBO mmmmmm would sound sweeeet in that....

Definitely a prime candidate.  Except for fabricating a rear end with a reversing system, but its been done and might be a fun challenge.   Or you could just stick a foot out the door and push for reverse.

Go with a 24v DC electric motor, with an alternate small motorcycle engine. It would be a cool easy project. The DC motor would give you foward or reverse. I'm going to be doing the same type conversion shortly.  gifsawsall
